2. Information involved in an enquiry
- Contact details you provide: name, business email, and optional telephone or WhatsApp number and country.
- Project information you provide: product selection, quantities, delivery requirements, message, drawing links and uploaded files. Drawings may contain project addresses, names or other personal information.
- Technical information: website requests include information such as an IP address and browser details. Hosting and email systems may process operational logs. The enquiry form uses an IP-derived hashed identifier for short-term submission rate limiting.
Please provide only information needed for the enquiry. Remove unrelated personal data, passwords and access credentials from drawings or shared folders. Do not upload another person’s information unless you are authorised to provide it.
3. Why information is used
Enquiry details are used to understand the requested product, review drawings, prepare a response or quotation, coordinate an order and communicate about the project. Technical controls help operate the website and prevent abusive submissions. Information may also be needed to meet applicable legal obligations or resolve a business dispute.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. The website does not currently run advertising trackers or visitor analytics. Where a law requires a lawful basis for processing, handling a requested quotation or contract, legitimate interests in business communication and security, and applicable legal obligations may be relevant. Any optional consent must be requested separately where required.
4. Drawing uploads and email
The contact form accepts up to five PDF, DWG, DXF or ZIP files, with a combined limit of 25 MB. Files are processed in private temporary server storage and passed to the enquiry email as attachments. They are not added to the public website media library. Temporary attachment copies are removed after the email attempt and during normal request cleanup.
Removing a temporary upload does not delete an attachment already delivered to an email system or saved for project correspondence. A download link you submit also remains subject to the permissions and retention settings of the service hosting that link. Limit access to the intended drawing package and tell us if a link should expire or be withdrawn.
5. Access, service providers and international enquiries
Information is handled by the people responding to the enquiry and, where needed, by providers supporting website hosting, email and business operations. Information may also need to be disclosed to a professional adviser or an authority where legally required. Do not assume a web enquiry creates a separate nondisclosure agreement; contact us before sending material that requires agreed confidentiality terms.
Lianhui is based in China. Sending an enquiry from another country involves providing information to a business in China, and email or hosting services may process information in other locations. Contact us before submission if your organisation requires a particular data-processing or transfer arrangement.
6. Retention
The form does not create a separate enquiry database in WordPress. Enquiry correspondence and delivered attachments can remain in business email or project records. Their retention depends on the enquiry or order, continuing project support, applicable recordkeeping obligations and any dispute. Ask us about the records relating to your enquiry or request deletion using the contact details above.
The form’s rate-limit counter expires after 15 minutes without a further accepted submission updating it. The optional browser preference below expires after 180 days and is cleared when next checked, or can be cleared earlier in Privacy Settings. Service-provider backups and operational logs may have different retention arrangements.
7. Cookies, browser storage and privacy settings
The public website currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are served from this website rather than loaded from an external font service. WordPress administrative access may use authentication and security cookies for logged-in administrators; these are separate from ordinary public browsing.
If you choose to remember “essential only,” Privacy Settings stores alu_privacy_v1 in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. It contains the preference version, essential-only mode and expiry time, not your enquiry or contact details. Leaving this unchecked does not enable optional tracking.
Open Privacy Settings to save or clear that preference. You can also clear site storage through your browser. Blocking essential browser or website features may affect some functionality. No optional analytics or advertising service is enabled by this control.
WhatsApp, social networks and other external destinations open only when you follow their links. Those services apply their own privacy policies. A telephone or email link uses your chosen calling or email application.
8. Your choices and requests
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out lawfully.
Email info@lianhuicz.com with “Privacy request” and enough information to identify the relevant enquiry. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send identity documents unless they have been requested for a necessary verification step. You may also have the right to contact the relevant data-protection authority.
9. Security and updates
The form uses input validation, submission checks, rate limiting and private temporary attachment handling. No website or email channel can guarantee absolute security. Arrange a suitable transfer method with us before sending particularly sensitive project material.

Inquiry confirmation cookie
After a successful inquiry, we use a temporary cookie to connect the submission to its confirmation page. The cookie contains a random reference, not your name, email address or drawings. It expires within 10 minutes and is cleared when the confirmation page uses it. This essential confirmation function does not enable analytics or advertising.
